Saltoro Capital is a global cross capital structure event driven hedge fund looking to hire a research analyst. The fund has a very strong, and long-standing track record and is looking to grow substantially over the next 2 years. Most important to us is a passion for learning, a passion for investing in financial markets, hard work, and a trust-based team approach. The candidate would need to have very strong excel modeling, power point, and basic coding skills. As we invest in the credit, converts, and equity markets, the candidate would be asked to present investment case studies on specific companies, investment themes, and trade ideas. The candidate would also be expected to present deep dives on specific companies. The candidate will work very closely with the CIO, Senior Analyst / Head of Thematic Investing, and COO. We are looking for very hard-working people that are looking to invest a considerable amount of time and energy in the early part of their careers to help build an even larger hedge fund business.
